The 3 most "asked" questions:
1. What to Wear?
Your outfits should revolve around your style and enhance who you are! The number one rule to follow is to feel physically comfortable in your outfit choices.
If you are not comfortable in the outfit (too short, too long, too tight, too wrinkled) it will show in your pictures and you will not feel as confident as you can. Don't feel like you have to go out and spend hundreds of dollars on new outfits for your shoot. The key is bringing pieces together to achieve a cohesive look. One way to achieve that is to utilize layers. Most people thing layers are only for cold, wintery months. Not so, layers can create so many different looks within one photoshoot. It can be helpful to keep colors neutral and use accessories for a pop of color, texture or statement piece. Don't be afraid to be BOLD too! Try something new and step out of your comfort zone. A few things to avoid: low cut shirts, horizontal stripes, and outfits that are too tight.
2. How Do I Pose?
Where do I put my hands? How do I know what to do with my legs? These are all common questions from senior sessions. DON'T WORRY! The first few minutes of every shoot can feel awkward. Let's be honest, being the center of attention would make almost anyone nervous. The good news is there will be assistance from start to finish. I have proven tricks and tips that flatter every figure and body type. It can be as simple as bending a knee, tilting your head or dropping a shoulder. We have you covered and will provide as much help as you would like.
3. Which Location should I pick?
Whether it is the beach or an old red barn, locations can be one of the most important decisions of the shoot. When choosing a location (of course, I will be here to help) it is good to think about your style and what fits your personality. If you have a modern, urban flare you probably would not want to shoot in a field of flowers with a long winding, wooden fence. It is important to create a vibe between your outfits and the locations where we ultimately will end up shooting. I can definitely help with that! I have a questionnaire that I will send out prior to your shoot. Once I see pictures of your outfits and read your questionnaire answers, together we can decide on a location. Also, I have secret locations that will help create a completely custom experience for you.
